Arc flash protection
Arcteq offers a complete solution for arc flash protection focusing on simplicity while maintaining both flexibility and function. The devices are built for a single purpose: to provide effective protection for low-voltage or medium-voltage applications.
The AQ 100 series arc flash protection relays provide trip times of 2…7 ms. When combined with a fast-acting circuit breaker, a total clearing time of 5 to 8 cycles is achieved.
Sensors
Arcteq’s continuous development with sensor technology has resulted in the widest range of sensors on the market today. There is a sensor for each application, no matter whether it is a small area monitored by point sensors, or a large area monitored by fiber optic sensors. All sensors are fully supervised.
Arc quenching
Arc quenching device extinguishes arcing faults in systems with a maximum rated voltage of 690 V. The AQ-1000 arc quenching system is designed to limit the total arcing time to 4 ms and to minimize (or even eliminate) the damaging effects that an arc fault’s temperature and pressure cause. In most applications, this will result in an energy release of less than 1 cal/cm². AQ-1000 is fully resettable which allows for full system testing on-site.
Capacitor bank protection
Arcteq offers dedicated devices for capacitor bank protection. The devices vary depending on the purpose and functionality of the application: they can be used for both automatic and manual power factor control applications and can contain a variety of dedicated protection functions
